This is a good opportunity to use tags for each story/memory or simply write reams and reams if you want. Include all those little bits of information, pieces of time and flashes of emotion that we carry with us through life.

I am going to include some memories that are very happy and some that really are hard to describe. Like the time that my Dad defied nature and saved my life, even though he didn’t know how he did it and time just seemed to stand still. Another is when we got the car bogged in a storm going to the farm and how we managed to get out as a family working together. Then there was the time that I woke up outside the tent in the middle of winter when we were camping at the goldfields (I had rolled out sleeping bag and all). The memory of the first time my son fell off his motorbike and how fast I ran to his aid (whilst taking a photograph at the same time, and it isn’t too blurry afterall).

Document your own memories from childhood, adulthood and parenthood that have left their mark on you.

Don’t forget to include a photograph (with a date) on each page.
