Book of Me 1: pages 39 & 52

“Travel is as much a passion as ambition or love”
-L.E.Landon
Travel (page 39)
I am… (page 52)

This week brings to light another topic that could do with a whole album being spent on it for some of us and a topic that will be quite difficult for the rest of us. You will find topics in this Book of Me project that could fill a whole 60 page album, and others that you will struggle to write a paragraph and find a single photograph. Along the feel free to create extra pages for your other albums about the topics that come easy and you have a wealth of resources for.
Don’t forget that I am only a phone call or an email away if you have a question, a difficulty or an inspiration block. Alicia

Travel
This is a page about where you have travelled, your favourite holidays, any anecdotes you want to share and some happy snaps if you have them.
This is not for travel dreams (that will go somewhere else).
You can share as much or as little as you want.
You may have some favourite moments that you want to include or some disasters that you need to include.
I know it is only one page, but I am sure that you will work out which bits to include and which bits to put on a page in your other albums to make up for their omission here. (If you have that much information and more photographs)
Try to include at least one paragraph of information (although this is a topic that does warrant more) and at least one holiday snap even if you’re not in it. And don’t forget to date (as best as you can) the photograph.

“I am beautiful no matter what they say
Words can’t bring me down
I am beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can’t bring me down
So don’t you bring me down today”
-Christina Aguilera – Beautiful Lyrics

I am…
This is a page of affirmations about you.
There are no negative or bad things to be included on this page.
I want you to sit down with a pen and some paper, get a coffee or other soothing drink, take a deep breath and write some nice things about yourself.
As hard as this may seem it really is quite easy.
And it’s not vanity to write some honest affirmations about you.
Be sure to include a photograph of yourself (with an approximate date) and your list of affirmations after the title “I am…”. A paragraph about your list is optional with this page. (Yes I’m letting your off the journaling hook, except for the list thing)

Let’s start a list here of possibilities for all of us:
